Daniel L. Dustin is a Vietnam-era veteran and professor in the Department of Health, Kinesiology, and Recreation at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. Thanks to the generous support of the Kendeda Fund, Dan, along with his colleagues, Dr. Kelly S. Bricker from the same department, Dr. Kevin R. Rathunde from Family and Consumer Studies, Dr. Craig J. Brownlee from Clemson University's Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management, are engaged in a multi-year research project to better understand nature's resiliency-building and restorative power for Armed Forces personnel, veterans, and their families.
