Publication of The Great Man marks Dale Chase's twentieth year writing gay men's erotica. And it's her hottest novel yet. Dale thrives on a creative life interspersed with bits of reality. Invention is her passion, putting words together her play. A straight woman who had written for many years before wandering into gay fiction, she found a home in a wonderfully welcoming literary community where she continues to thrive. After starting with contemporary gay erotica in magazines and anthologies, Dale moved into historical fiction, first Victorian, then the old west. To date over two hundred of her stories have been published in magazines and anthologies, including translation into Italian and German. A California native, Dale lives near San Francisco where, when she's not writing, she enjoys a lifelong passion for making art: drawing, painting, papier mache sculpture, making art from found objects, and magazine paper collage.
