Cynthia E. Clark, Ph.D. is the John W. Poduska Professor of Governance at Bentley University. Professor Clark serves on the editorial board of two journals: Business & Society and Academy of Management Perspectives . She is also the author of Giving Voice to Values in the Boardroom (2021). Additionally, she is a governance fellow with the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), is a member of the Society for Governance Professionals, the Society for Corporate Compliance & Ethics, the Private Directors Association (PDA) and is active in 50/50 Women on Boards; she presents regularly at all. She has been widely cited in the media including The Wall Street Journal , Institutional Investor , The Boston Globe, CNN, Forbes and Reuters and has appeared on multiple podcasts as a noted expert. Prior to joining Bentley, Clark was a member of the faculty at Boston University, following a career in the banking and securities industry.
