Craig Barron

Barron is an alumnus of George Lucas's Industrial Light + Magic matte department and began as a matte-painting photographer for The Empire Strikes Back. Barron ultimately became supervisor of all matte-department photography at ILM, in the process working closely with George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and other directors.
