Coco Sellman believes business can be a force for good, especially with visionary women at the helm. With over 25 years of entrepreneurial experience, Coco has launched five companies and guided over 500 startups. As the Founder & CEO of A Force for Good, she leads an innovative ecosystem for purpose-driven women founders, helping them unlock exponential growth and prosperity. One of Coco's recent triumphs is Allumé Home Care, a healthcare services company inspired by her stepdaughter, Amelia. Allumé provided around-the-clock nursing care for medically fragile children and adults. Under Coco's leadership, Allumé grew rapidly to eight-figure revenues, merged with another home health platform (All Pointe HomeCare), and achieved four-figure profits in under four years. Her advocacy led to a 31.7% increase in Connecticut's complex nursing Medicaid rates, expanding access for those most in need. The company completed a successful exit in 2024.Coco's vision is to support the emergence of the next generation of businesses like Amazon and Whole Foods-founded and led by women. She created the Force for Good System(TM), designed to help women entrepreneurs (and wholehearted men) scale their ventures from $1M in annual revenue to $20M and beyond. Her approach blends strategy and analysis with wisdom and community. As an impact-focused venture investor, board director, and advisor, Coco is dedicated to helping women-led businesses thrive. She's a Limited Partner of Moderne Ventures and How Women Invest, a member of 37 Angels, Entreprenista, and Luminary, and mentors at Springboard and the Founder Institute.Coco serves on several boards, including How Women Lead, The Connecticut Association for Healthcare at Home, Rise Children, and the Oliver Wolcott Library. She divides her time between New York, NY, and Morris, Connecticut, with her husband, Frank, and their two daughters, Amelia and Ella Pearl, along with their Havanese doggies, Harry and Layla.
