Clemency Burton-Hill, MBE, is an award-winning broadcaster, podcaster, author, journalist and musician. At BBC Radio 3's Breakfast Show she welcomed a new audience to classical music, and for over a decade she was also host of BBC's Culture Show , the Proms, Young Musician of the Year, Classical Fix and other flagship arts programmes. Clemency Burton-Hill, MBE, is an award-winning broadcaster, podcaster, author, journalist and musician. At BBC Radio 3's Breakfast Show she welcomed a new audience to classical music, and for over a decade she was also host of BBC's Culture Show , the Proms, Young Musician of the Year, Classical Fix and other flagship arts programmes. Her journalism has appeared in the Economist , Financial Times , Sunday Times , Guardian , Observer and Vogue and she is the author of four books. An award-winning violinist, Clemency has performed all over the world under leading conductors including Daniel Barenboim. She is the co-founder of Aurora Orchestra and a patron of various arts and education charities, including Music Masters. She survived a catastrophic brain haemorrhage in 2020, and now campaigns to improve recovery for those affected by brain injury.
