Clam Lynch began his career in the early 90s as a performance artist. His work included giant cardboard props, crazy handmade costumes, and sampled 50s children's music. Clam Lynch began his career in the early 90s as a performance artist. His work included giant cardboard props, crazy handmade costumes, and sampled 50s children's music. In 1992, he and his partner, Stephen Holman, were approached by Nickelodean to develop a children's television show. They wrote, designed, and performed in Life with Loopy and The Shrimpkins. More recently, Clam has developed shows for the USA Network and the HBO Workspace. He has worked as a Production Designer on dozens of music videos for MTV, earning a Best Art Direction nomination for a 1995 R.E.M. video. Clam lives in Los Angeles with his daughter, Eloise.
