Christopher Bolte (BĜLT) is a sound designer for video games, a passionate field recordist, and a mixing engineer. He holds a degree in jazz performance and education from Hochschule Osnabrück and Berklee College of Music and has been recording audio for most of his life - or 20 years to be precise. As a sound designer, he is currently working on indie and "AA" games while still finding time to pursue a degree in sound design, create sound effects libraries and sample packs, and contribute to global SFX crowdsourcing projects. He always strives to be a helpful voice in the global game audio community through blog posts, mentorship, resource sharing, outreach, and by contributing to this very book.
