He has also published three novels (the modern classic, A Spy in the Ruins [2005], and Voyage to a Phantom City [2015; both from Regent Press]) and two collections of short fiction: In the American Night and Dangerous Stories for Boys (both from A Press of Rabble). His third novel, Meditations on Love and Catastrophe at The Liars' Cafe (Regent Press), appeared in 2020. He has also written plays produced and radio broadcast in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he lives. He has published journalism in many periodicals across the U.S. and is a regular contributor to Synchronized Chaos International Magazine. In 1989 he founded, and is now co-editor, of the literary and arts magazine (now webzine) Caveat Lector. In 2019, he was awarded the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. See less
