A Southwestern historian and the co-founder of a folk art gallery, Christine Mather is well known nationally as a lecturer on art and cultural history and author of several volumes on the traditions of the Southwest-- Santa Fe Homes , Santa Fe Style , Native America: Arts, Traditions, and Celebrations , and True West: Arts, Traditions, and Celebrations . She lives with her husband and two daughters, Amanda and Thais, in the heart of Santa Fe.
