Christian Tumpel

Christian Tumpel studied theology, art history and archaeology and wrote his doctoral dissertation about Rembrandt. He was a Fellow at the Warburg Institute in London and then was the chair of Northern European Art at Columbia University. He has been awarded the Prize of the Royal Academy of Science.
