Chris Elle Dove has taken on many roles, "worn many hats", throughout the years. She holds a Master of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Financial Planning and Financial Psychology. Much of her professional life was spent sharing sociological insights with community college students. Now, she is a financial coach, consultant, and workshop facilitator. Six years ago, Chris decided to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a writer. Chris draws inspiration for her picture books from her children and her love of nature. She hopes her stories will engage, inspire, and empower young readers. The main themes of her books (which often include fun facts about animals) are friendship, leadership, creativity, nurturing curiosity, respect for the natural world, and belief in oneself. See less
