Mrs. Chilita Perkins was born and raised in the city of Chicago to Eugene and Vicki Cunningham . At a young age she was trained under Elder Titus and the late Virginia Anderson of The Holy Covenant Church of God in Christ for ministerial duties. She is destined to serve God. Growing up in a home centered around domestic violence, her parents soon separated leaving her to be raised in a single parent home. Her mom, being an Evangelist at Liberty Tabernacle all Nations Church, taught Chilita all a young woman needs to stand as a child of God. A few years later her family separated from LTANC, and Chilita quickly took to life in the streets. Upset, and angry, Chilita made a lot of wrong choices for her life, which almost cost Chilita her life. She battled through domestic violence, and family abuse. God's hand was on Chilita from a child, and He kept her through activities like joining street drill teams as well as dance groups. These activities took her off the streets and gave her focus. God called His prodigal daughter home to a small storefront church called New Birth Outreach Ministry under Pastor Rayford Pointer on November 24, 1994, where she recommitted herself back to God. At the age of 22, she was ordained to be a minister of the gospel. As she served under their leadership, she received a certificate of Training for Service, became a head teacher, and organizer of the Children Ministry and VBS summer programs. Mrs. Chilita Perkins was mentored by the head intercessor of New Birth, with laying on of hands by Dr. Mildred Harris. Mrs. Chilita Perkins learned how to become the prayer warrior and strong woman she is today. Along with her husband she has been involved with street evangelism, and teaching evangelism classes to other ministries. Chilita has received medals, and certificates from Arnie Duncan of the CPS (Chicago Public School) and has been a community activist for 8 years in Chicago under DCP (Developing Community Projects). Along with her husband she has started Second Chance Organization for the homeless, and neglected souls and The Vision Dance Production for youth, which are still going strong. In 2005 Rhema Word Christian Center was released, and opened as a ministry. Over the next couple of years, she attended classes on the Apostolic Faith and The School of the Prophets. In 2006 she was called by God as a Prophetess and later ordained by Apostle Issac Perkins of Rhema Word Christian Center See less
