Cheryl Rogers-Barnett is the eldest daughter of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. Her mother urged her to write a book about her family saying," you are the only one who remembers your father working at Republic Studios." This is Cheryl's second book about growing up in the Rogers family. Cheryl was adopted in 1940 when her father's career was just getting off to a roaring start. She was there when her father made No. 1 Western box-office star (for 11 years running). She was still at home through her parents hit TV series. She has served on the boards of ChildHelp, The San Bernardino Museum, The Golden Boot Awards Committee, the Lone Pine Film History Museum and been on the Advisory Board of the Western Music Association. She and her husband, Larry Barnett, have seven children, 19 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. They are now mostly retired and live in the Southwest corner of Utah. See less
