As a writer, she won the Croydon Warehouse International Playwriting festival and has been longlisted for the Bruntwood Prize, as a translator she was shortlisted for the Marsh Award for Children's Literature in translation in the UK and has had journalism published in the national press. As a filmmaker her documentary 'Rock n Roll Island: where legends were born' was broadcast on BBC4 and garnered a Sunday Times Critics Choice. She is perhaps best-known for leading the campaign to erect a new bronze statue of Virginia Woolf on Richmond riverside in England, successfully installed in 2022. See less
