As the owner of an HR consulting firm, Charnay Parks did not start off expecting to write a book about a baby in the NICU. The inspiration for this came after the unforeseen period of time she spent with her firstborn baby boy, Grayson, at the NICU in Children's Hospital, Dallas, Texas, during the extraordinary COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. Having gone through the struggles of a new mother who had to cope with the isolating restrictions of the pandemic as she watched over her ailing baby, she hopes her work will provide some comfort to other parents going through similar situations. Faith, grace, perseverance, and drive are the root of her accomplishments. Grayson and Charnay enjoy long walks, traveling and spending time with family. See less
