Celia Townsend Wells
Celia Townsend Wells earned a Ph.D from Columbia University. She is an associate professor emerita at Fairfield University, where she taught Chaucer, medieval literature, women writers, advanced composition, and a writing seminar for women. For twenty-five years she has been a modest breeder/exhibitor of Pembroke Welsh corgis, two of whom live with her in Southport, Connecticut.
