Cecil Woolf
CECIL N. SIDNEY WOOLF (1887-1917) was born in London and attended Trinity College at Cambridge University as a fellow in history. His dissertation, Bartolus of Sassoferrato was awarded the Thirlwell Prize Essay in 1913. A lieutenant in World War I, Woolf was injured in an attack and later died at age thirty.
