Caroline Darian is a pen name for Caroline Peyronnet. This pen name is very close to Caroline's heart. It's actually a contraction of the first names of her two beloved brothers, David and Florian. They are her two pillars, as she likes to say in every interview: "Without them, I'd never have been so strong and determined to be able to undertake everything I've done to hope that chemical submission would eventually be recognised as a real public health issue in France. This cause is very close to the hearts of all the three of us: David, Florian and myself." Caroline is a senior communications manager in a large company in France. She is also the daughter of Gisèle Pelicot and Dominique Pelicot, whose trial in Avignon for the chemical submission, rape and trafficking of his wife has made headlines all over the world. Caroline's response to the devastation her family experienced was to help others by raising awareness of this frequently undetected public health issue: domestic chemical submission. She founded the charity M'endors Pas (Stop Chemical Submission: Don't Put Me Under) to campaign for better overall support for victims and systematic training for all professionals concerned.
