Carol Munro Guilbault
Carol Munro Guilbault is a life-long Michigander who grew up in a small town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Carol's inspiration for Butterfly Ears was her dog, Paco, a lovable and lively Papillon with big ears. Papillon means "butterfly" in French so the seed for the idea for a children's book about a dog whose ears transform into butterfly ears was planted close to home.
