Carol McConnell has been interested in art all her life. This project has allowed her to express the emotional journey she and her family have navigated following her mother's dementia diagnosis. Many of the drawings came from memories of her mother and her mother's relationship with Carol's sons, Brian and Tommy. Carol lives in Clemmons, NC, with her husband Bain.
