Carol Angel has raised a family, practiced law, served as a deputy prosecutor, written and edited for news publications; handled communications for a hospice agency, and assisted in the front office of her daughter's veterinary clinic. She has walked dogs at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah, and visited patients with her little dog Laddie at Hope Hospice in Florida.
