He studied animation at a creative college in Rotterdam, but soon discovered that his true passion was for illustration, particularly the creation of whimsical characters that bring people, children especially, joy. His work is bold, bright, and colorful, and often invested with strong messages that carry forward Carlo's belief in art's ability to entertain, educate, and inspire.
