Never one to sit back and wait for things to come to him, he's a hard charger and goes after whatever interests him. His first career was land surveying, followed by air traffic control and commercial piloting. After that he had a successful second career as a law enforcement officer. He has won multiple championships racing his Lotus 61 formula Ford. He loves boating and fishing, as well as traveling with his wife in their motorhome.
