Cari has been a teacher for over eight years, and has taught every secondary level, from remedial to AP college courses in both public and private schools; in brick & mortar and online environments. Her areas of expertise are Conflict Management, Civic Education and Participation, and Social Sciences & Social Justice curriculum at a secondary and college level. In 2009, she was chosen as a James Madison Fellow, a Congressional Fellowship designed for teachers of Constitution-based history and government. She holds a BA in Conflict Analysis & Resolution, an MA in Teaching, and will finish an MA in Political Science in the summer of 2013.
