Camilla Carboni is the Founder of Create-The-Dream, a marketing company focused on branding and communication tactics necessary to drive sales, and a blog dedicated to motivating others to reach their full potential. Born and raised in South Africa, Camilla immigrated to the United States in early 2009 and launched her professional writing career shortly thereafter. Camilla's passion for strategic, well-branded marketing naturally progressed to the online sphere as the industry developed. In early 2010 Camilla realized the power of Social Media Marketing when, using the techniques covered in this book, she salvaged a business that was under social media attack. She was then recruited by a worldwide Hospitality Company to develop the online marketing strategy and manage the social media campaign for a renowned resort, and quickly became recognized as a Social Media Specialist in the industry. Camilla coached various other properties around the globe and aided the company headquarters in compiling a Best Practice Manual. Camilla wrote this book with the hope that it will assist and inspire everyone in the hospitality industry to join the conversation on social networks and start turning online connections into offline guests. Camilla attended both the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, and the University of Iowa in the U.S.A. She holds a Master's Degree in Media Reception Psychology, a Bachelor's Degree in Communications and an additional Graduate Major in English.
