Calvin Hunter holds B.S. degrees in Behavioral Science and Psychology from Westminster College and the University of Utah. He also holds an M.Ed. in Special Education from the University of Utah and M.S. degree in Information Technology from Capella University. He has worked as an author, teacher, consultant, corrections officer, woodsman and taxi driver. He has worked as an author, teacher, consultant, corrections officer, woodsman and taxi driver. Calvin has many interests including art, philosophy, gardening, building and writing. Susan Quentine Knittle-Hunter attended the University of Utah and graduated with a B.S. in Special Education and a B.S. in Psychology. She has taught children of all ages and disabling conditions in Utah and Wyoming. She has been a consultant on the state level for the States of Utah and Wyoming working with disabled children and adults and their families. She was a program coordinator for an adult habilitation program in Wyoming. Susan has designed several community adult living programs. Susan wrote a book about her daughter Sandy titled, Sotos Syndrome: A Tribute To Sandy and also written an instructional manual, Creating Program Plans for MR/DD Adults, and has presented workshops using the manual. Susan became disabled herself with Periodic Paralysis and had to give up her career devoted to improving the lives of challenged children and adults. Calvin and Susan, married for over 32 years, enjoy the peace and beauty of the forest in their new home in Sequim, Washington. They live with their two spoiled cats and plenty of wildlife. They are presently writing their next books and continue to work daily to help others. In their spare time, Calvin enjoys working with wood and tends their organic garden while Susan enjoys genealogy research and reading historical romance novels. See less
