Calista Kindle spent five years as a staff writer at a local newspaper in Ashtabula, Ohio, before entering the dental field over 15 years ago. Calista Kindle spent five years as a staff writer at a local newspaper in Ashtabula, Ohio, before entering the dental field over 15 years ago. She was as a dental assistant/oral surgical assistant before she became a dental assistant instructor for Great Lakes Institute of Technology in Erie, Pennsylvania, where she was soon promoted to program director for the Dental Assistant program. She devotes her time and effort to each individual student, making sure they are the best in the field. Her students maintain high DANB Certificate pass rates, along with successful job placement immediately after graduating from the dental program. While serving as program director, she attended Westmoreland Community College to become an Expanded Function Dental Assistant. Licensed in Pennsylvania as an Expanded Function Assistant, she works part time at a local dental office and continues her education at Clarion University. See less
