As a writer and journalist, he is specially known for his 'impersonation' stories, in which he would live incognito among marginalized communities like bootblacks, circus clowns, blind people, and people with HIV to experience their lives and struggles at first hand. Gopinath is also a professional film-maker, theatre director, composer, and cook. A lover of mindful living, cooking and exploration, he lives in Thailand, where he is working on his next two works, the novel Balman the Altruist, and Letters to a son @ McGill. See less
