As chair of aviation science at California Baptist University, C. Daniel Prather, Ph.D., M.P.A., AAE, is developing an entirely new collegiate aviation program. Dr. Prather previously served as associate professor of aerospace at Middle Tennessee State University and has taught courses in airport and airline management, FBO management, airport planning and design, aviation safety, and airport funding policy. Before entering academia, his career included service as assistant director of operations and as an airport operations specialist at Tampa International Airport (TPA). Dr. Prather is an accredited airport executive (AAE) through the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE), a trainer for AAAE, an instrument-rated private pilot, and a prolific author and researcher. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska and an M.P.A. from Southern Illinois University. See less
