Byron Dueck
Byron Dueck is a lecturer in ethnomusicology at the Open University. He received his PhD in ethnomusicology from the University of Chicago in 2005. His research interests include First Nations and M�tis music and dance in North America, popular music in Cameroon, and jazz performance in the United Kingdom. His work in these diverse areas is connected by overarching interests in musical publics, performances of national multiculturalism, and the social implications of rhythm and meter.
