Bruce is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association in the Division of School Psychology and the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychology, and he is a Charter Fellow of the American Educational Research Association. Additionally, Bruce is the co-founder of The Journal of Psychoeducational Assessment and has served as co-editor of the journal for more than twenty years. Bruce has received such prestigious awards as the Senior Scientist Award by the American Psychological Association, the Distinguished Faculty Award by the University of Memphis, and the Lifetime Achievement Award by his alma mater, The University of Georgia.
