Brendan Woodhouse

Brendan Woodhouse is a former British Army combat medic, he served in Afghanistan with the British Army. He has been a firefighter for 20 years and has been using his annual leave to help refugees since 2015. He has been on ten missions to the central Mediterranean Sea and been involved in the rescue of around 8,500 people. He was awarded the Fire Brigades Union solidarity medal in 2022 and still campaigns for refugee rights.
