Bob Fryer

Professor Bob Fryer CBE was Chief Learning Adviser at the Department of Health. Bob was Assistant Vice Chancellor at the University of Southampton and Director of New College, and was also the Principal of Northern College for 15 years. Between 1997 and 1999 he chaired the National Advisory Group for Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning which advised the Secretary of State for Education and produced two reports, Learning for the Twenty-first Century and Creating Learning Cultures.
