Bishop Gavin Ashenden
Gavin Roy Pelham Ashenden (born 1954) was a British Anglican clergyman. He was a Chaplain to the Queen from 2008 until his resignation in 2017 due to his conviction that he could not fully uphold the Gospel principles and be a true Christian, following in the footsteps of Jesus, if he were to stay. He was ordained in the Church of England, but left it in 2017.
