In rural Manitoba, Bill Massey taught for ten years in elementary schools and, at the age of thirty, became a principal for twenty-three years. During all that time, he has lived on farms at Kelwood, Elma, and finally Grosse Isle, where he currently resides with his wonderful wife, Dorothy.
