Bill DeYoung

Born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, Bill DeYoung was a music fan from an early age. Although he never met Phil Gernhard, he knew his name and legacy and was always aware of the contributions he'd made to the Florida music industry. His other books are "Skyway: The True Story of Tampa Bay's Signature Bridge and the Man Who Brought it Down," "I Need to Know: The Lost Music Interviews," and three volumes of "Vintage St. Pete" stories.
