Dr. Bhagwan Narayan Rekadwad received a PhD in 2014 for his research on "the prokaryotic diversity of hot springs". After finishing his PDF (postdoc) at DBT-NCCS in Pune, he became an Assistant Professor at Savitribai Phule Pune University, known as "the Oxford of the East ".
