Bette Talvacchia
Bette Talvacchia is Board of Trustees Distinguished Professor Emerita, The University of Connecticut. She holds a Ph.D. in Art History from Stanford University. Her scholarship focuses on the art of the Italian Renaissance and issues of sexuality and gender. Her most recent book, The Two Michelangelos, explores the relationships in the art of Michelangelo Buonarroti and Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio.
