Bealer W Moore
Bealer was born in Prince George County, VA, in 1922. He married Clara Garnell Moore in 1942. In 1943, he enlisted in the Army Air Corps. As a Technical Sergeant, he served as a Radio Operator on a B-17 until he was shot down over Germany. He became a POW for the remainder of the War. In civilian life, he worked for the US Postal Service until 1976. After retirement, Bealer and Nell moved to Belews Creek, NC, where he enjoyed painting, gardening, and playing guitar/banjo until he passed in 2002.
