Barry R Schaller

Barry R. Schaller was a justice of the Connecticut Supreme Court. He is the author of A Vision of American Law: Judging Law, Literature, and the Stories We Tell , Understanding Bioethics and Law: The Promises and Perils of the Brave New World of Biotechnology , Veterans on Trial: The Coming Court Battles Over PTSD , and a prior novel, The Ramadi Affair (2016). After suffering from a rare form of leukemia, he died in September 2017. FLIGHT FROM ALEPPO is his second novel.
