Barbara Strickland loves being an Australian with an Italian heritage. She thinks it lends an interesting slant to her life, especially her cooking. Her favourite things are travel and languages. Currently working on the second book in The Unexpected Series (a place where love of romance and travel co-exist) she is happy to be living in North Queensland where she tosses up between complaining about the weather or loving it. The creating of The Emotions Anthology Box Set has been a dream - the impossible finally becoming possible. It is now time to go work on the contemporary romance series, and hopefully a paranormal thriller, and lately with increasing demand, a science fiction romance calls. Barb has four ambitions, to publish her books, more travel (perhaps introduce her grandchildren to their Italian relatives), speak at least three other languages, and own a cat with blue eyes. The year 2020 may just accomplish those things. It remains to be seen but then making the impossible happen is something she is familiar with. See less
