Avner Mandelman was born in Israel and served in the Israeli Air Force, including the 1967 war. He has a BSc in Aeronautical Engineering from the Israeli Technion, an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and an MA in English / Creative Writing / Theatre from San Francisco State University.
