Avis Gray

Avis Gray, longtime and fond resident of Grand Lake, has written six books of local history and lore, taught architecture and design back East, and now owns the only bookstore in Grand County, specializing in Colorado history and camaraderie. Sarah McCarthy, a Colorado historic preservationist, is excited to coauthor this collection and to tell the unique story of the trails, passes, lakes, rivers, and people of this village high in the Colorado Rockies.
