Antony Owen
Antony Owen was raised in the working-class heartland of Coventry which alongside growing up in Cold War Britain influenced his poetry on conflict. His work features in UK School lesson resources for peace education by CND and Quakers. He is a recipient of the Museum of Military Medicine Award (2018), The Bread & Roses Award and most notably was shortlisted for The Ted Hughes Award for new work in poetry for his study of atomic bomb survivors taken in Japan.
