Patricia Dobler
Patricia Dobler has received the Annex 21: American Poetry Series Prize, 1981, and the Associated writing Program Anniversary Prize, 1984, and has been awarded grants by the National Endowment for the Arts and by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Talking to Strangers was awarded the 1986 Brittingham Prize in Poetry. Dobler lives in Pittsburgh and teaches at both the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie-Mellon University.
