Annmae Johnson

AnnMae Johnson grew up on a farm in southwestern Minnesota, and received the B.A. degree from Wheaton College, Illinois, and the M.A. degree from Northern Illinois University. She studied the English educational system under a fellowship at Cambridge, England, where she taught as a volunteer for several months. She has taught school in Wisconsin, California, and Minnesota, and her extensive travels have included visits to schools in Japan, China, New Zealand, Thailand, and Kenya.
