Anne Walmsley taught for three years at Westwood High School in Jamaica, and for nine years travelled throughout the Caribbean as Longman's Caribbean Editor. She has also taught English at a Grammar School in London, and worked for the BBC Schools Television Service. She has been active with the Association for the Teaching of Caribbean and African Literature.
