Anne Price Yates is a writer and an artist. In 2003 after retiring from her position as a senior writer/editor for DOD in California, she moved to Portland, Oregon. She has published several books, including Increase in Prices, a genealogical compilation, for which she and her father collaborated. She is a member of the National League of American Pen Women in both Letters and Arts. Anne Price Yates is a writer and an artist. In 2003 after retiring from her position as a senior writer/editor for DOD in California, she moved to Portland, Oregon. She has published several books, including Increase in Prices, a genealogical compilation, for which she and her father collaborated. She is a member of the National League of American Pen Women in both Letters and Arts. Her art was featured in the June 2005 issue of The Pen Woman, and in May 2014 her Tranquil Reflection oil painting, which had been juried into the NLAPW Biennial Art Competition in Atlanta, won third place. Her oil paintings were exhibited for a number of years at the Amsterdam Whitney Fine Art Gallery in Chelsea (New York). She has also exhibited her work in California, where she was a member of the California Writers Club. She exhibits in Portland, Oregon, where she is a member of the Watercolor Society of Oregon.
