She is the author of Acts of Contortion , which won the Brittingham Prize in Poetry; ENGRAVED: POEMS (2013), the winner of the 2011 Snowbound Chapbook Competition from Tupelo Press; and most recently THE GENOME RHAPSODIES (The Ashland Poetry Press, 2015). Meek lives with her husband and daughter in Minneapolis, where she sings professionally with the VocalEssence Ensemble Singers and is a professor of English in the Twin Cities. See less
